Dear Strong Friend is a soft landing place for women who are tired of being strong all the time.
Through stories, rest practices, and embodiment tools, I help you release survival mode and remember yourself again.
Hi, I’m Rashida.
But this page? It’s really about you.
You…the strong friend. The calm one. The one who always shows up. The one who holds space for everyone else… while quietly falling apart inside.
You’ve done what you had to do to survive. You’ve pushed through.
Stayed composed. Been the one others could lean on…even when you were barely standing yourself.
And maybe you’re starting to realize: This version of strength is costing you.
Maybe your smile feels strained. Your breath stays shallow. You feel exhausted no matter how much you rest.
I see you. Because I’ve been you.

My Path Back to Softness
I didn’t just start self-care for luxury or leisure…I came to it in survival mode.
During postpartum depression, I found myself unraveling quietly while the world expected me to hold it all together.
I wasn’t seeking self-improvement. I was seeking something—anything—that could hold me while I was falling apart.
What started as a desperate need to feel okay again slowly turned into something deeper:
A return to myself.
A rewriting of strength.
A remembering of softness.
As life shifted—motherhood, heartbreak, identity changes—I kept trying to “stay strong.”
But that strength became a mask. The armor got heavier.
And I lost access to who I really was underneath it all.
So I stopped performing.
I let myself slow down.
And I began to practice self-care—not just the surface kind, but the deep, emotional kind.
I learned to care for my nervous system.
To befriend my feelings instead of outrun them.
To sit with discomfort instead of pushing through it.
And I began to rest… not just physically, but emotionally, energetically, and spiritually.
Who I Serve
This space is for the women who feel like they have to keep it all together.
For the caregivers, high achievers, quiet fixers, and fierce nurturers.
The ones who carry everyone else…while silently falling apart.
Here, you get to lay that down.
You get to be held.
What You’ll Find Here
Now, I help other strong friends do the same.
Through emotional self-care practices, mindful reflection, and intentional rest, I support you in:
- Releasing survival habits with compassion
- Reconnecting with your feelings and inner truth
- Redefining strength as something that supports you—not something you have to perform
This isn’t surface-level self-care.
This is soul care. Nervous system care.
This is the quiet work of coming home to yourself.
This is a space where you don’t have to explain your exhaustion or prove your worth to receive care.
Whether we connect through a journal prompt, a story, a guided rest ritual, or a quiet exchange…
You don’t have to carry it all here. You get to be held.
For Brands & Collaborators
My audience is made up of emotionally intelligent, heart-led women who are rethinking what strength looks like.
They care about wellness, rest, personal growth, and authentic connection…not trends or performative self-care.
If your brand aligns with those values, I’d love to explore thoughtful, heart-centered collaborations.
